AT 450 PM PDT WEATHER RADAR AT MISSOULA MT INDICATED A SEVERE
THUNDERSTORM LOCATED 17 MILES EAST OF OROFINO IDAHO.
 
MOVEMENT WAS TO THE SOUTHEAST AT 10 TO 15 MPH.
 
WHEN THUNDERSTORMS ARE OCCURRING...PEOPLE SHOULD MOVE INSIDE A

...THUNDERSTORMS BEGINING TO BUILD IN LEWIS AND IDAHO COUNTY...

MISSOULA DOPPLER RADAR HAS DETECTED THUNDERSTORMS DEVELOPING SOUTH
EAST OF OROFINO. THESE THUNDERSTORMS ARE MOVING TO THE SOUTHEAST AT
10 TO 15 MPH.

RADAR INDICATES AROUND ONE HALF INCH OF PRECIPITATION COULD HAVE
FALLEN IN A 30 MINUTE PERIOD OUT OF ONE THUNDERSTORM.

WITH THE UNSTABLE AIR MASS AND CONTINUED AFTERNOON HEATING THESE
THUNDERSTORMS ARE EXPECTED TO CONTINUE INTO THE EVENING HOURS.

REMEMBER...THUNDERSTORMS CAN BRING STRONG GUSTY WINDS...BRIEF HEAVY
