NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE NEW YORK NY 829 AM EDT SAT JUL 15 1995 THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN NEW YORK HAS ISSUED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 930 AM EDT FOR THE PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATIONS... IN SOUTHEAST NEW YORK ...EASTERN ORANGE COUNTY...WESTERN PUTNAM COUNTY ...NORTHERN WESTCHESTER COUNTY A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM NEAR STEWART AIRFORCE BASE WILL MOVE SOUTHEAST DURING THE NEXT HOUR. THIS STORM WILL PRODUCE LARGE HAIL AND MAY ALSO GENERATE DAMAGING WINDS. THIS IS A DANGEROUS STORM.
