000 TTAA00 KNYC 020018 FFWNYC NJC031-020115- BULLETIN - EBS ACTIVATION REQUESTED FLASH FLOOD WARNING NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE NEW YORK NY 817 PM EDT SAT JUL 1 1995 THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN NEW YORK HAS ISSUED A FLASH FLOOD WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 915 PM EDT FOR THE PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATION... IN NORTHEAST NEW JERSEY ...PASSAIC COUNTY A THUNDERSTORM IN THE NORTHERN PORTION OF PASSAIC COUNTY IS DUMPING HEAVY RAIN AT THE RATE OF 2 1/2 TO 3 INCHES DURING THE PAST HOUR. THE THUNDERSTORM IS CURRENT ALONG THE MORRIS/PASSAIC COUNTY BORDER IN THE VICINITY OF BUTLER MOVING TOWARDS POMPTON PLAINS AND POMPTON LAKES. THIS IS A DANGEROUS STORM WHICH WILL CAUSE WATER TO ACCUMULATE ON ROADWAYS VERY QUICKLY. DO NOT DRIVE YOUR VEHICLE INTO AREAS WHERE THE WATER COVERS THE ROADWAY.
