FLASH FLOOD WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL  915 AM CDT
FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATIONS...
 
IN NORTHEAST NEBRASKA
 
   ...ANTELOPE COUNTY...KNOX COUNTY...MADISON COUNTY
   ...PIERCE COUNTY
 
AT 515 AM DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED THUNDERSTORMS PROUDUCING VERY HEAVY
RAIN CONTINUED FROM NORFOLK NORTHWEST TO NIOBRARA. THESE THUNDERSTORMS
WILL LIKELY CONTINUE ACROSS MUCH OF THIS AREA THROUGH 700 OR 800 AM.
 
RAINFALL ESTIMATES FROM DOPPLER RADAR SINCE MIDNIGHT INCLUDE SOME
AMOUNTS OF 4 TO 5 INCHES JUST WEST AND NORTH OF NORFOLK THEN EXTENDING
INTO NORTHEAST ANTELOPE AND SOUTH CENTRAL KNOX COUNTIES.  AS OF 500 AM
PIERCE HAD RECEIVED 4 INCHES OF RAIN.
 
A FLASH FLOOD WARNING MEANS THAT FLASH FLOODING IS IMMINENT OR HAS
BEEN REPORT8ED.  RESIDENTS SHOULD TAKE IMMEDIATE PRECAUTIONS.  DO
NOT ATTEMPT TO CROSS SWIFTLY FLOWING WATERS BY FOOT OR BY AUTO.
