IN SOUTHWEST MONTANA ...NORTHERN BEAVERHEAD COUNTY...DEER LODGE COUNTY IN WEST CENTRAL MONTANA ...GRANITE COUNTY AT 300 PM MDT...MISSOULA DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED TWO SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS. THE FIRST WAS LOCATED 20 MILES SOUTHWEST OF PHILIPSBURG IN SOUTHERN GRANITE COUNTY. THE OTHER WAS LOCATED 30 MILES SOUTH-SOUTHWEST OF PHILIPSBURG IN EXTREME NORTHWEST BEAVERHEAD COUNTY. THESE STORMS WERE MOVING TO THE NORTHEAST AT 35 MPH AND ARE EXPECTED TO MOVE INTO THE PHILIPSBURG AREA WITHIN THE NEXT HOUR. AS UPPER LOW MOVES OVER WESTERN MT...IT WEAKENS AND FILLS WITH MAIN ACTIVE TO BE IN THE SOUTH. BEST DYNAMICS THROUGH TONIGHT OVER EASTERN ID AND SOUTHWEST MONTANA.
