...TORNADO WATCH FOR MOST OF MIDDLE EAST TENNESSEE UNTIL 8PM EDT...

THE TORNADO WATCH IS IN EFFECT FOR THE FOLLOWING COUNTIES IN EAST
TENNESSEE: ANDERSON...CLAIBORNE...KNOX...CAMPBELL...GRAINGER...MORGAN...
IJEFFERSON...SCOTT AND HAMBLEN UNTIL 8PM EDT.

AT 235 PM WEATHER RADAR INDICATED STRONG THUNDERSTORMS OVER THE
CUMBERLAND PLATEAU MOVING NE AT 35 MPH. THE HEAVIEST RAINFALL WAS OVER
MORGAN...ANDERSON AND CAMPBELL COUNTIES.

VERY HEAVY RAIN...GUSTY WIND...DANGEROUS LIGHTNING...AND SOME HAIL IS
LIKELY WITH THIS DEVELOPING LINE OF THUNDERSTORMS AND SHOWERS.

SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS CAN AND OCCATIONALLY DO PRODUCE TORNADOES WITH
LITTLE OR NO WARNING.  PLEASE BE ALERT TO RAPIDLY CHANGING WEATHER
CONDITION AND MOVE TO A STURDY SHELTER IF THREATENING WEATHER IS
SIGHTED.

HEAVY RAINS CAN FLOOD ROADWAYS QUICKLY SO DO NOT ATTEMPT TO DRIVE INTO
