THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN ROCHESTER MN HAS ISSUED A
SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 1030 PM CDT
FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATIONS...
 
IN SOUTHEAST MINNESOTA
 
   ...SOUTHERN DODGE COUNTY...NORTHERN FILLMORE COUNTY
   ...NORTHERN MOWER COUNTY...SOUTHERN OLMSTED COUNTY
 
A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WAS REPORTED BY THE STEWARTVILLE FIRE DEPARTMENT
AT 950 PM. SOME TOWNS IN THE PATH OF THE STORM ARE CHATFIELD AND
PLEASANT GROVE. THE STORM SHOULD BE NEAR CHATFIELD BY 1005 PM. WIND GUST
OF 74 MPH WERE REPORTED BY THE STEWARTVILLE FIRE DEPARTMENT AT 950 PM.
 
A TORNADO WATCH IS ALSO IN EFFECT FOR THE WARNED AREA.
REMEMBER SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS CAN PRODUCE TORNADOES WITH LITTLE
OR NO WARNING.  STAY INDOORS...REMAIN CALM AND BE READY TO MOVE
