000 TTAA00 KBHM 200346 RRA SVRMGM ALC001-200445- BULLETIN - IMMEDIATE BROADCAST REQUESTED SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE MONTGOMERY AL ISSUED BY BIRMINGHAM AL 1045 PM CDT SAT AUG 19 1995 THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HAS ISSUED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 1145 PM CDT FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATION... IN CENTRAL ALABAMA ...AUTAUGA COUNTY AT 1045 PM A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WAS MOVING INTO THE EASTERN PORTION OF AUTAUGA COUNTY. THIS STORM HAS HAD A HISTORY OF PRODUCING DAMAGING WINDS IN EXCESS OF 55 MPH. THE AREAS LIKELY TO BE AFFECTED ARE PRATTVILLE AND PINE LEVEL. SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS PRODUCE DAMAGING WIND IN EXCESS OF 55 MPH...DESTRUCTIVE HAIL...DEADLY LIGHTNING...AND VERY HEAVY RAIN. FOR YOUR PROTECTION MOVE TO AN INTERIOR ROOM ON THE LOWEST FLOOR OF YOUR HOME OR BUSINESS. HEAVY RAINS FLOOD ROADS QUICKLY SO DON'T DRIVE INTO AREAS WHERE WATER COVERS THE ROAD.
