SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL  515 PM CDT
FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATIONS...
 
IN CENTRAL ALABAMA
 
   ...MONTGOMERY COUNTY
 
IN WEST CENTRAL ALABAMA
 
   ...BULLOCK COUNTY
 
NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE RADAR SHOWED THE DEVELOPMENT OF A THUNDERSTORM
THAT COULD BE SEVERE IN NORTHWESTERN BULLOCK COUNTY. THE THUNDERSTORM
WAS NOT MOVING MUCH BUT HAD A SLOW SOUTHWARD DRIFT THAT COULD TAKE IT
INTO SOUTHERN MONTGOMERY COUNTY IN THE NEXT 30 TO 45 MINUTES. BASED ON
THIS LIMITED MOVEMENT IT COULD AFFECT THE COMMUNITIES OF MITCHELL,
SHOPTON, AND HECTOR IN BULLOCK COUNTY AND DOWNING, OAKWOOD, AND MATHEWS
IN EASTERN AND SOUTHEAST MONTGOMERY COUNTY.
 
IF YOU ARE CAUGHT OUTSIDE...SEEK SHELTER FROM THE WEbATHER IN A
STRONG BUILDING.  DAMAGING WIND...LARGE HAIL...VERY HEAVY RAIN...
AND DEADLY LIGHTNING ARE ALL POSSIBLE IN SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS.
STAY INSIDE AWAY FROM WINDOWS UNTIL THE STORM HAS PASSED.
