SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL  545 PM CDT
FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATION...
 
IN CENTRAL ALABAMA
 
   ...LOWNDES COUNTY
 
AT 450 PM DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM IN LOWNDES
COUNTY NEAR HAYNEVILLE. THIS STORM WAS MOVING SOUTH AT 15 MPH AND WILL
MOVE THROUGH HAYNEVILLE BY 500 PM AND THEN TRACK TOWARDS THE
COMMUNITIES BEECHWOOD..MOUNT WILLING...AND CALHOUN.
 
WHEN THUNDERSTORMS ARE OCCURRING...PEOPLE SHOULD MOVE INSIDE A
STRONG BUILDING.  DO NOT STAND BY WINDOWS.  DON'T USE TELEPHONES
OR ELECTRICAL APPLIANCES UNLESS IN AN EMERGENCY UNTIL THE STORM
HAS PASSED.  MOTORISTS SHOULD NOT DRIVE INTO LOW WATER CROSSINGS.
