THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN MOBILE AL HAS ISSUED A
SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL  800 PM CDT
FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATION...
 
IN SOUTHWEST ALABAMA
 
   ...CHOCTAW COUNTY
 
AT 702 PM CDT...MOBILE DOPPLER WEATHER RADAR INDICATED A SEVERE
THUNDERSTORM IN WESTERN CHOCTAW COUNTY 10 TO 20 MILES WEST TO NORTHWEST
OF BUTLER. OTHER THUNDERSTORMS WERE MOVING INTO THE NORTHERN PORTION OF
THE COUNTY NORTH OF CROMWELL. MOVEMENT OF THE THUNDERSTORMS WAS TO THE
SOUTHEAST AT NEAR 20 MPH.
 
THESE THUNDERSTORMS WILL AFFECT THE BUTLER...GILBERTOWN...AND TOXEY
AREAS WITHIN THE NEXT HOUR.
 
SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS PRODUCE DAMAGING WIND IN EXCESS OF 55
MPH...DESTRUCTIVE HAIL...DEADLY LIGHTNING...AND VERY HEAVY RAIN.
