IN EAST CENTRAL ALABAMA

NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM
MOVING INTO SOUTHERN LEE COUNTY NEAR GRIFFIN MILL OR ABOUT 10 MILES
SOUTH OF OPELIKA. THE THUNDERSTORM WAS MOVING NORTHEAST AT 20 MPH. THE
THUNDERSTORM WILL MOVE ACROSS THE SALEM AREA OF EASTERN LEE COUNTY.
 
IF YOU ARE CAUGHT OUTSIDE...SEEK SHELTER FROM THE WEATHER IN A
STRONG BUILDING.  DAMAGING WIND...LARGE HAIL...VERY HEAVY RAIN...
