000 TTAA00 KMOB 081932 RRA SVRMOB ALC023-082000- BULLETIN - IMMEDIATE BROADCAST REQUESTED SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE MOBILE AL 232 PM CDT SAT JUL 8 1995 THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN MOBILE AL HAS ISSUED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 300 PM CDT FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATION... IN SOUTHWEST ALABAMA ...CHOCTAW COUNTY AT 230 PM CDT A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WAS INDICATED BY RADAR 5 MILES WEST OF CROMWELL MOVING TOWARD THE SOUTH AT 30 MPH. THE STORM WAS PART OF A LINE OF STRONG THUNDERSTORMS MOVING SOUTHWARD ACROSS THE COUNTY. DAMAGING WINDS ARE LIKELY WITH THIS THUNDERSTORM. SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS PRODUCE DAMAGING WIND IN EXCESS OF 55 MPH...DESTRUCTIVE HAIL...DEADLY LIGHTNING...AND VERY HEAVY RAIN. FOR YOUR PROTECTION MOVE TO AN INTERIOR ROOM ON THE LOWEST FLOOR OF YOUR HOME OR BUSINESS. HEAVY RAINS FLOOD ROADS QUICKLY SO DON'T DRIVE INTO AREAS WHERE WATER COVERS THE ROAD.
