AT 356 PM RADAR INDICATED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM MOVING INTO LEE COUNTY
FROM THE NORTHWEST. THE STORM WAS MOVING SOUTHEAST AROUND 30 MPH...AND
WILL MOVE ACROSS THE AUBURN AND OPELIKA AREAS BY 415 PM. THIS STORM HAS
A HISTORY OF PRODUCING WIND DAMAGE.
 
SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS PRODUCE DAMAGING WIND IN EXCESS OF 55
MPH...DESTRUCTIVE HAIL...DEADLY LIGHTNING...AND VERY HEAVY RAIN.
