FLOOD WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 1000 AM EDT
FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATIONS...
 
IN CENTRAL FLORIDA
 
   ...EASTERN ORANGE COUNTY...NORTHERN OSCEOLA COUNTY
 
AT 700 AM WEATHER RADAR AT MELBOURNE INDICATED A HEAVY RAIN BAND
PERSISTING ACROSS EASTERN ORANGE AND NORTHERN OSCEOLA COUNTIES. RADAR
ESTIMATES INDICATE RAINFALL RATES OF ONE TO TWO INCHES PER HOUR
OCCURRING WITH THE HEAVIEST SHOWERS. REPORTS HAVE BEEN RECEIVED OF
FLOODING OF SECONDARY ROADS WITH SOME BECOMING IMPASSABLE IN THE BUENA
VISTA AND ST CLOUD AREAS.
 
ADDITIONAL RAINFALL OF ABOUT 2 INCHES MAY OCCUR FROM EAST LAKE TOHO
TO ST CLOUD AND NARCOOSEE THROUGH 730AM...WITH HIGHER TOTALS POSSIBLE
ACROSS EASTERN ORANGE COUNTY WERE THE RAIN WILL LIKELY PERSIST TO 8 AM.
 
A FLOOD WARNING MEANS FLOODING IS OCCURRING OR IS IMMINENT.
IF FLOODING IS OBSERVED...ACT QUICKLY.  DO NOT STAY IN AREAS
SUBJECT TO FLOODING WHEN WATER BEGINS RISING. MOVE UP TO ESCAPE
FLOOD WATERS.  DO NOT DRIVE YOUR VEHICLE INTO AREAS WHERE WATER
COVERS TvHE ROAD. MOST FLOOD DEATHS OCCUR IN AUTOMOBILES.
