FLOOD WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL  445 AM EDT
FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATION...
 
IN EAST CENTRAL FLORIDA
 
   ...INDIAN RIVER COUNTY
 
AT 140 AM EDT...WEATHER RADAR INDICATED THAT AN AREA OF HEAVY RAIN
ASSOCIATED WITH TROPICAL STORM JERRY WAS MOVING NORTH INTO INDIAN RIVER
COUNTY. RAINFALL AMOUNTS OVER MARTIN AND ST LUCIE COUNTIES HAVE BEEN
WELL IN EXCESS OF 6 INCHES. SOME FLOODING WAS BEING REPORTED IN THOSE
TWO COUNTIES.
 
THE HEAVIEST RAIN WILL FALL OVER MUCH OF THE INLAND PART OF THE COUNTY
WEST OF I-95 AS THE CIRCULATION CENTER OF JERRY CONTINUES TO MOVE
NORTHWEST ACROSS SOUTH CENTRAL FLORIDA. HOWEVER...THE ENTIRE COUNTY WILL
EXPERIENCE RAINFALL. AMOUNTS UP TO 6 INCHES ARE POSSIBLE.
 
A FLOOD WARNING MEANS THAT FLOODING IS OCCURRING OR IS IMMINENT.
MOST FLOOD DEATHS OCCUR IN AUTOMOBILES.  DO NOT ATTEMPT TO DRIVE
ACROSS BRIDGES...DIPS...OR LOW SPOTS IF WATER COVERS THE ROADWAY.
NEVER TRY TO CROSS RAPIDLY FLOWING WATER ON FOOT.  TO ESCAPE
RISING WATER MOVE UP TO HIGHER GROUND.
