AT 1250 PM FUNNEL CLOUDS WERE SIGHTED IN SOUTH DADE COUNTY...JUST EAST
OF CHEKIKA PARK NEAR SW 168 STREET AND 230 AVENUE. STRONG THUNDERSTORMS
HAVE FORMED FROM JUST WEST OF SWEETWATER SOUTHWEST INTO EVERGLADES
NATIONAL PARTK AND WERE EXPECTED TO DRIFT NORTHEAST.
 
DAMAGING WIND IN EXCESS OF 55 MPH...LARGE HAIL...VERY HEAVY RAIN...
AND DEADLY LIGHTNING ARE ALL POSSIBLE IN A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM. SEEK
SHELTER IN A STRONG BUILDING. STAY AWAY FROM WINDOWS. DO NOT USE
TELEPHONES OR ELECTRICAL APPLIANCES.
