SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL  415 PM EDT
FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATION......
 
IN SOUTHEAST FLORIDA

AND THE ADJACENT COASTAL WATERS ALONG THE SOUTHEAST FLORIDA COAST
AND THE ADJACENT COASTAL WATERS
 
AT 310 PM EDT MIAMI DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM
ACROSS WEST CENTRAL DADE COUNTY FROM SHARK VALLEY SOUTH TO
THE NORTHERN PART OF THE EVERGLADES NATIONAL PARK.
 
THIS LARGE SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WAS MOVING EAST AND NORTHEAST AT
30 MPH AND WILL MOVE ACROSS CENTRAL DADE COUNTY AROUND 330 PM EDT
THEN INTO EASTERN SECTIONS BY 400 PM EDT. CENTRAL AND EASTERN PORTIONS
OF THE COUNTY FROM HOMESTEAD TO NORTH MIAMI WILL BE AFFECTED BY THIS
STORM.
 
DAMAGING WIND IN EXCESS OF 55 MPH...LARGE HAIL...VERY HEAVY RAIN...
AND DEADLY LIGHTNING ARE ALL POSSIBLE IN A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM. SEEK
SHELTER IN A STRONG BUILDING. STAY AWAY FROM WINDOWS. DO NOT USE
TELEPHONES OR ELECTRICAL APPLIANCES.
