000 TTAA00 KMEM 210054 TORMEM MSC095-210145- BULLETIN - EBS ACTIVATION REQUESTED TORNADO WARNING NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE MEMPHIS TN 753 PM CDT THU APR 20 1995 THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN MEMPHIS HAS ISSUED A TORNADO WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 845 PM CDT FOR PERSONS IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATIONS...... IN NORTHEAST MISSISSIPPI ...MONROE COUNTY AT 745 PM...THE MONROE COUNTY SHERIFFS OFFICE REPORTED A TORNADO 8 MILES WEST OF PRAIRIE IN SOUTHWEST MONROE COUNTY. THE TORNADO WILL MOVE NEAR ABERDEEN AND AMORY AND PERSONS THERE SHOULD TAKE COVER NOW. THIS IS A DANGEROUS STORM SITUATION. ACT QUICKLY. IF YOU ARE IN THE PATH OF THIS TORNADO MOVE TO A SHELTER BELOW GROUND IF AVAILABLE. OTHERWISE...GO TO A SMALL INTERIOR ROOM ON THE LOWEST FLOOR POSSIBLE. AVOID WINDOWS. DOPPLER RADAR INDICATES SCATTERED SHOWERS AND A FEW THUNDERSTORMS OVER WEST TENNESSEE MOVING TO THE NORTHEAST AT 30 MPH. A COLD FRONT WHICH HAS TRIGGERED TODAYS STORMY WEATHER IS CURRENTLY OVER EASTERN ARKANSAS AND SHOULD CROSS INTO WEST TENNESSEE WITHIN THE NEXT HOUR. A LINE OF BRIEF HEAVY RAIN WILL ACCOMPANY THIS FRONT AS IT MOVES EAST ACROSS WEST TENNESSEE.
