000 TTAA00 KMEM 150535 SVRMEM TNC005-150615- BULLETIN - IMMEDIATE BROADCAST REQUESTED SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE MEMPHIS TN 1234 AM CDT MON MAY 15 1995 THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN MEMPHIS HAS ISSUED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 115 AM CDT FOR PERSONS IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATIONS...... IN WEST TENNESSEE ...BENTON COUNTY AT 1223 AM CDT DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM ABOUT 5 MILE NORTHWEST OF CAMDEN TENNESSEE. THIS STORM WAS MOVING SOUTHEAST AT 20 MPH AND WILL PASS THROUGH CAMDEN BETWEEN 1240 AM AND 115 AM CDT. THE MAIN THREAT FROM THIS STORM IS LARGE HAIL...DAMAGING WINDS AND DEADLY LIGHTNING. WHEN THUNDERSTORMS ARE OCCURRING...PEOPLE SHOULD MOVE INSIDE A STRONG BUILDING. DO NOT STAND BY WINDOWS. DON'T USE TELEPHONES OR ELECTRICAL APPLIANCES UNLESS IN AN EMERGENCY UNTIL THE STORM HAS PASSED. MOTORISTS SHOULD NOT DRIVE INTO LOW WATER CROSSINGS.
