AT 807 PM CST...NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE RADAR IN TUPELO INDICATED A
LINE OF RAINSHOWERS WITH EMBEDDED THUNDERSTORMS EXTENDING FROM
GREENEVILLE MISSISSIPPI TO DECATUR ALABAMA MOVING VERY LITTLE.

HOWEVER...INDIVIDUAL STORMS WITHIN THE LINE WERE MOVING TO THE NORTHEAST
AT 40 MILES AN HOUR.

THE THUNDERSTORM WITH THE HEAVIEST RAINFALL WAS LOCATED IN CALHOUN
COUNTY.

THESE STORMS HAVE THE POTENTIAL OF PRODUCING LOCALLY VERY HEAVY
RAINS...STRONG GUSTY WINDS AND FREQUENT LIGHTNING.

ANYONE LIVING IN OR NEAR THE PATH OF THESE THUNDERSTORMS SHOULD BECOME
WEATHER ALERT AND TAKE APPROPRIATE ACTION SHOULD THREATENING WEATHER
APPROACH.
