...SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WATCH NUMBER 715 IN EFFECT UNTIL 5AM FOR A LAGRE
PORTION OF ARKANSAS...

A SEVERE THUNDERSTROM WATCH HAS BEEN ISSUED FOR THE SOUTHEAST TWO THIRDS
OF ARKANSAS. THE AREA AFFECTED IS GENERALLY SOUTHEAST OF A LINE THAT
EXTENDS FROM NEAR MOUNTAIN HOME TO RUSSELLVILLE TO NEAR MENA. AREAS
NORTHWEST OF THIS LINE ARE STILL UNDER A TORNADO WATCH. THIS MEANS THAT
EVERY COUNTY IN THE STATE IS CURRENTLY UNDER SOME TYPE OF WEATHER WATCH.

AT 1040 PM...DOPPLER WEATHER RADAR INDICATED A LINE OF SEVERE
THUNDERSTORMS MOVING EASTWARD THROUGH WEST CENTRAL AND NORTHERN
ARKANSAS. THIS LINE OF STROMS HAS HAD A HISTORY OF PRODUCING STRONG
WINDS IN EXCESS OF 60 MPH. HAIL HAS ALSO BEEN REPORTED. THIS LINE WILL
BEGIN TO AFFECT CENTRAL ARKANSAS BETWEEN 11 PM AND MIDNIGHT.

PERSONS IN ARKANSAS SHOULD KEEP ABREAST TO THIS POTENTIALLY DANGEROUS
SITUATION. TUNE TO LOCAL RADIO...TELEVISION OR NOAA WEATHER RADIO FOR
THE LATEST WEATHER INFORMATION. BE READY TO ACT QUICKY AND MOVE TO A
PLACE OF SAFETY.
