FLASH FLOOD WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL  630 AM EDT
FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATION...
 
IN WEST CENTRAL VIRGINIA
 
   ...MADISON COUNTY
 
AT 420 AM EDT WEATHER RADAR SHOWED HEAVY RAIN FALLING IN SOUTHERN
MADISON COUNTY. A SHERIFFS DEPUTY CONFIRMED THAT AS OF 415 AM FLOODING
WAS OCCURRING ON ROUTE 687 BETWEEN ROUTE 230 EAST AND US ROUTE 29.
 
RADAR INDICATES THAT RAIN WILL CONTINUE ACROSS THE COUNTY FOR THE NEXT
ONE TO TWO HOURS.
 
BE ESPECIALLY CAUTIOUS AT NIGHT WHEN IT IS HARDER TO RECOGNIZE
THE DANGERS OF FLOODS AND FLASH FLOODS.  IF FLASH FLOODING IS
OBSERVED...ACT QUICKLY.  MOVE UP TO ESCAPE FLOOD WATERS.  DO
NOT STAY IN AREAS SUBJECT TO FLOODING WHEN WATER BEGINS RISING.
