IN NORTHWEST TEXAS ...NORTHERN YOAKUM COUNTY AT 515 PM CDT...NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED A DEVELOPING TORNADO OVER NORTHERN YOAKUM COUNTY...ABOUT 10 MILES NORTH OF PLAINS. MOVEMENT WAS TO THE EAST AT 20 MILES AN HOUR. IF YOU ARE IN THE PATH OF A TORNADO...THE SAFEST PLACE IS A BASEMENT. GET UNDER A WORKBENCH OR PIECE OF STURDY FURNITURE.
