000 TTAA00 KLBB 160043 TORLBB TXC345-160115- BULLETIN - EBS ACTIVATION REQUESTED TORNADO WARNING NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE LUBBOCK TX 742 PM CDT MON MAY 15 1995 THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN LUBBOCK HAS ISSUED A TORNADO WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 815 PM CDT FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATION... IN NORTHWEST TEXAS ...NORTHERN MOTLEY COUNTY AT 740 PM CDT...NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR CONTINUED TO INDICATE A POSSIBLE TORNADO NEAR THE COMMUNITY OF FLOMOT IN NORTHWESTERN MOTLEY COUNTY. THE STORM WAS MOVING EAST LESS THAN 10 MILES AN HOUR. THERE HAVE BEEN SEVERAL REPORTS OF FUNNEL CLOUDS ASSOCIATED WITH THIS STORM DURING THE PAST HOUR. IF YOU ARE IN THE PATH OF A TORNADO...THE SAFEST PLACE IS A BASEMENT. GET UNDER A WORKBENCH OR PIECE OF STURDY FURNITURE.
