000 TTAA00 KSTL 161757 SVRSTL MOC019-135-161845- BULLETIN - IMMEDIATE BROADCAST REQUESTED SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE ST LOUIS MO 1250 PM CDT SUN APR 16 1995 THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN ST LOUIS HAS ISSUED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 145 PM CDT FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATIONS... IN CENTRAL MISSOURI ...BOONE COUNTY...NORTHERN MONITEAU COUNTY AT 1250 PM...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WAS 25 MILES SOUTHWEST OF COLUMBIA. THIS STORM WAS MOVING TO THE EAST AT 30 MPH AND WILL CROSS INTO WESTERN BOONE COUNTY AT 115 PM. THIS STORM HAS A HISTORY OF PRODUCING GOLFBALL SIZE HAIL AND WINDS IN EXCESS OF 60 MPH. THE TOWNS OF JAMESTOWN...ROCHEP T...MCBAINE...COLUMBIA...ASHLAND...AND MIDWAY ARE IN THE PATH OF THIS STO . WHEN THUNDERSTORMS ARE OCCURRING...PEOPLE SHOULD MOVE INSIDE A STRONG BUILDING.
