THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN NEW ORLEANS HAS ISSUED A
TORNADO WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL  400 PM CDT
FOR RESIDENTS IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATIONS...

IN SOUTH MISSISSIPPI

   ...PEARL RIVER COUNTY.

AT 300 PM CDT...RADAR INDICATED A SVERE THUNDERSTORM PRODUCING A
POSSIBLE TORNADO NEAR POPLARVILLE MISSISSIPPI. TREES WERE REPORTED
DOWN IN THE POPLARVILLE AREA SHORTLY BEFORE 300 PM CDT. THE STORM IS
MOVING TO THE SOUTH SOUTHWEST AT 20 MPH.

THE CITY OF PICAYUNE IS IN THE PATH OF THIS STORM.
