THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN NEW ORLEANS HAS ISSUED A
TORNADO WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL  215 PM CDT
FOR RESIDENTS IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATION...
 
IN SOUTHEAST LOUISIANA
 
   ...TANGIPAHOA PARISH
 
AT 1:10 PM CDT DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED A POSSIBLE TORNADO
WITHIN A CLUSTER OF SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS THAT WERE OVER WEST
CENTRAL TANGIPAHOA PARISH. THESE STORMS WERE MOVING TOWARDS
THE EAST NORTHEAST AT 15 TO 20 MILES AN HOUR. SHERIFFS REPORTED
A TREE FELL ON A CAR GOING DOWN HIGHWAY 51 SOUTH OF SHILOH NEAR
THE COMMUNITY OF VALMA.
