...FLASH FLOOD WATCH IN EFFECT TONIGHT AND SUNDAY...

AT 1045 PM CDT RADAR SHOWED STRONG THUNDERSTORMS FROM EUNICE AND
OPELOUSAS EXTENDING ACROSS BUNKIE AND SIMMESPORT TO FORT POLK...
ALEXANDRIA AND VIDALIA.  MOVEMENT WAS EAST AT 30 MPH.

THESE THUNDERSTORMS WILL HAVE STRONG AND GUSTY WIND...HEAVY RAIN WITH
FLOODING OF STREETS AND OTHER LOW LYING AREAS...DANGEROUS LIGHTNING
AND POSSIBLY SOME HAIL.

PEOPLE IN AVOYELLES AND ST LANDRY PARISHES SHOULD REMAIN ALERT AND
LISTEN TO NOAA WEATHER RADIO FOR LATER STATEMENTS OR POSSIBLE WARNINGS.
