THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN LAKE CHARLES HAS ISSUED A
TORNADO WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 1030 AM CST
FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATIONS...

IN SOUTHWEST LOUISIANA

   ...BEAUREGARD PARISH...CALCASIEU PARISH

AT 923 AM RADAR INDICATED A TORNADO NEAR DEQUINCY MOVING TO THE
NORTHEAST AT 30 MPH. RESIDENTS OF DEQUINCY AND RAGELY SHOULD SEEK
SHELTER IMMEDIATELY.

A TORNADO WATCH IS ALSO IN EFFECT FOR THE WARNED AREA.  REMEMBER
SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS CAN AND OCCASIONALLY DO PRODUCE TORNADOES
WITH LITTLE OR NO ADVANCE WARNING.  REM"AIN CALM BUT BE ALERT TO
RAPIDLY CHANGING WEATHER CONDITIONS.
