IN SOUTHEAST TEXAS ...JEFFERSON COUNTY AT 1255 AM CST...DOPPLER WEATHER RADAR DETECTED A POSSIBLE SEVERE THUNDERSTORM 10 MILES WEST OF HIGH ISLAND. THIS STORM WAS MOVING EAST NORTHEAST AT 30 MILES AN HOUR...AND IS CAPABLE OF PRODUCING LARGE HAIL...FREQUENT DEADLY LIGHTNING...AND DAMAGING THUNDERSTORM WINDS. AT 815 PM THIS EVENING...LIGHT DRIZZLE AND PATCHY DENSE FOG WERE BEING REPORTED ACROSS EAST AND SOUTHEAST TEXAS. THE PRECIPITATION WAS TOO LIGHT TO BE DETECTED BY NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR. THE FOG ACROSS THE REGION WAS REDUCING VISIBILITIES BELOW 1 MILE WITH SOME AREAS REPORTING VISIBILITIES AS LOW AS 1/4 OF A MILE. THIS LIGHT PRECIPITATION WILL BE INCREASING TO SHOWER AND THUNDERSTORM ACTIVITY AS THE NIGHT PROGRESSES. THIS MEANS THE LOWER LEVEL OF THE ATMOSPHERE WILL CONTINUE TO BE SATURATED.
