SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL  645 PM CDT (545 PM MDT)
FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATIONS...
 
IN WEST CENTRAL NEBRASKA
 
   ...EASTERN HOOKER COUNTY...WESTERN THOMAS COUNTY
 
AT 614 PM CDT RADAR INDICATED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM ABOUT 10 MILES
SOUTHEAST OF MULLEN OR ABOUT 35 MILES NORTH NORTHWEST OF NORTH PLATTE
MOVING NORTHEAST AT 20 MILES AN HOUR. DAMAGING WINDS ARE LIKELY WITH
THIS STORM ALONG WITH SOME LARGE HAIL AS IT MOVES ACROSS THE RURAL AREAS
OF EASTERN HOOKER AND WESTERN THOMAS COUNTIES.
 
WHEN THUNDERSTORMS ARE OCCURRING...PEOPLE SHOULD MOVE INSIDE A
STRONG BUILDING.  DO NOT STAND BY WINDOWS.  DON'T USE TELEPHONES
OR ELECTRICAL APPLIANCES UNLESS IN AN EMERGENCY UNTIL THE STORM
HAS PASSED.  MOTORISTS SHOULD NOT DRIVE INTO LOW WATER CROSSINGS.
