SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL  830 PM CDT (730 PM MDT)
FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATION...
 
IN SOUTHWEST NEBRASKA
 
   ...NORTHWESTERN PERKINS COUNTY
 
AT 7 PM MDT A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WAS INDICATED BY RADAR 12 MILES
NORTHWEST OF GRANT IN PERKINS COUNTY...WHICH IS ABOUT 15 MILES SOUTHWEST
OF OGALLALA. THIS STORM WAS MOVING NORTHEAST AT 10 MILES AN HOUR. LARGE
HAIL AND STRONG WINDS ARE LIKELY WITH THIS STORM.
 
WHEN THUNDERSTORMS ARE OCCURRING...PEOPLE SHOULD MOVE INSIDE A
STRONG BUILDING.  DO NOT STAND BY WINDOWS.  DON'T USE TELEPHONES
OR ELECTRICAL APPLIANCES UNLESS IN AN EMERGENCY UNTIL THE STORM
HAS PASSED.  MOTORISTS SHOULD NOT DRIVE INTO LOW WATER CROSSINGS.
