SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 1145 PM CDT (1045 PM MDT)
FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATION...
 
IN THE NEBRASKA PANHANDLE
 
   ...NORTHERN SHERIDAN COUNTY
 
AT 955 PM MDT RADAR SHOWED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM JUST SOUTHWEST OF
GORDON AND JUST SOUTHWEST OF RUSHVILLE WHICH IS IN THE NORTHERN ONE
THIRD OF SHERIDAN COUNTY. THESE STORMS WERE MOVING NORTHEAST AT 20 MPH
AND WILL HIT GORDON AND RUSHVILLE AROUND 1010 PM MDT.
 
WHEN THUNDERSTORMS ARE OCCURRING...PEOPLE SHOULD MOVE INSIDE A
STRONG BUILDING.  DO NOT STAND BY WINDOWS.  DON'T USE TELEPHONES
OR ELECTRICAL APPLIANCES UNLESS IN AN EMERGENCY UNTIL THE STORM
HAS PASSED.  MOTORISTS SHOULD NOT DRIVE INTO LOW WATER CROSSINGS.
