IN SOUTHEAST KENTUCKY ...LETCHER COUNTY AT 515 PM...WEATHER RADAR INDICATED A POSSIBLE TORNADO 15 MILES SOUTHWEST OF HAZARD OR IN SOUTHEASTERN LESLIE COUNTY NEAR THE TOWN OF CHAPPELL. THE STORM WAS MOVING EAST AT 35 MPH AND WILL AFFECT LETCHER COUNTY BY 600 PM. TOWNS IN THE PATH INCLUDE WHITESBURG AND ROXANA. IF YOU ARE IN THE PATH OF A TORNADO...THE SAFEST PLACE IS A BASEMENT.
