SEVERE THUNDERSTORM AND FLASH FLOOD WARNING
EFFECTIVE UNTIL  745 AM EDT
FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATION   ...
 
IN SOUTHEAST KENTUCKY
 
   ...HARLAN COUNTY
 
AT 635 AM RADAR INDICATED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM IN SOUTHERN LESLIE
COUNTY. IT WAS LOCATED 20 MILES SOUTH OF HAZARD AND WAS MOVING TOWARD
THE SOUTH SOUTHEAST AT 25 MILES AN HOUR. IT WILL AFFECT ALL OF HARLAN
COUNTY INCLUDING THE CITIES OF HARLAN BY 645 AM.
 
SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS PRODUCE DAMAGING WIND IN EXCESS OF 55
MPH...DESTRUCTIVE HAIL...DEADLY LIGHTNING...AND VERY HEAVY RAIN.
