TORNADO WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL  530 PM CDT
FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATIONS...
 
IN SOUTH CENTRAL MISSISSIPPI
 
   ...COVINGTON COUNTY...SOUTHEASTERN JEFFERSON DAVIS COUNTY
 
AT 442 PM CDT JACKSON RADAR INDICATED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WITH A
POSSIBLE TORNADO JUST NORTH OF BASSFIELD MOVING EAST AT 35 MPH. THIS
THUNDERSTORM HAS A HISTORY OF PRODUCING TORNADOES AND LARGE HAIL. ON ITS
PRESENT COURSE THIS THUNDERSTORM WILL BE MOVING INTO SOUTHERN COVINGTON
COUNTY SOUTH OF SEMINARY. THE TOWN OF SANFORD IS IN THE PATH OF THIS
THUNDERSTORM.
 
  PERSONS IN SOUTHEAST JEFF DAVIS AND COVINGTON COUNTIES SHOULD TAKE
COVER IMMEDIATELY.
