000 TTAA00 KEVV 182036 SVREVV INC027-125-182130- BULLETIN - IMMEDIATE BROADCAST REQUESTED SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE EVANSVILLE IN 336 PM CDT (336 PM EST) THU MAY 18 1995 THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN EVANSVILLE HAS ISSUED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 430 PM CDT (430 PM EST) FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATIONS... IN SOUTHWEST INDIANA ...DAVIESS COUNTY...PIKE COUNTY AT 332 PM CDT...RADAR INDICATED A LINE OF STRONG AND SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS MOVING INTO THE WESTERN PORTIONS OF DAVIESS AND PIKE COUNTIES. BASEBALL SIZE HAIL WAS REPORTED WITH ONE OF THESE STORMS ALONG STATE ROAD 41 NEAR THE GIBSON AND KNOX COUNTY LINE. MOVEMENT WAS TO THE NORTHEAST AT 50 MPH. WASHINGTON AND PETERSBURG ARE IN THE PATH OF THESE STORMS. IF YOU ARE IN THE WARNED AREA...TAKE COVER NOW. A TORNADO WATCH IS ALSO IN EFFECT FOR THE WARNED AREA.
