THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN SPRINGFIELD HAS ISSUED A
SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL  915 PM CDT
FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATIONS...

IN CENTRAL ILLINOIS

   ...LOGAN COUNTY...MENARD COUNTY

A CLUSTER OF SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS AT 820 PM WAS LOCATED FROM
25 MILES NORTH OF SPRINGFIELD NEAR MASON CITY TO 40 MILES
NORTHEAST OF SPRINGFIELD NEAR ATLANTA.

60 MPH WINDS WERE REPORTED AT ATLANTA AT 820 PM.  THE STORMS WERE
MOVING SOUTHWEST AT 30 MPH.  TOWNS IN THE PATH OF THESE SEVERE
STORMS INCLUDE PETERSBURG AND LINCOLN.

THIS IS A DANGEROUS STORM. TAKE COVER IMMEDIATELY. IF YOU ARE IN
ITS PATH...PREPARE FOR DAMAGING WINDS...LARGE HAIL...AND DEADLY
LIGHTNING.
