000 TTAA00 KILN 250111 FFWILN OHC089-250400- BULLETIN FLOOD WARNING FOR URBAN AREAS AND SMALL STREAMS NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE WILMINGTON OH 905 PM EDT SAT JUN 24 1995 THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN WILMINGTON HAS ISSUED A FLOOD WARNING FOR URBAN AREAS AND SMALL STRAEAMS EFFECTIVE UNTIL MIDNIGHT EDT FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATIONS... IN CENTRAL OHIO ...LICKING COUNTY AT 900 PM WILMINGTON DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED THAT OVER 1.75 INCHES OF RAIN HAD FALLEN IN CENTRAL LICIKING COUNTY. THIS RAINFALL WAS DUE TO A SERIES OF THUNDERSTORMS THAT HAVE BEEN FORMING OVER THE COUNTY SINCE 8 PM. THE RAINS WILL CONTINUE AND MAY BE ENHANCED IN STRENGTH BY THE ARRIVAL OF THUNDERSTORMS FROM MUSKINGUM COUNTY THAT HAVE BEEN MOVING SLOWLY NORTHWEST...INTO LICKING COUNTY. DRIVING WILL BE MADE DIFFICULT TONIGHT DUE TO HEAVY RAINS AND PONDING OF WATER ON ROADWAYS. PLEASE USE CAUTION WHEN APPROACHING A FLOODED ROADWAY...OR OTHER HIGH WATER AREAS. NEVER ATTEMPT TO DRIVE THROUGH WATER OF UNKNOWN DEPTH. RAINS WILL CONTINUE ACROSS CENTRAL AND EASTERN LICKING COUNTY THROUGH AT LEAST 1100 PM. WATER WILL COLLECT ON ROADWAYS IN THE AREA...
