AT 147 AM EDT A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WAS DETECTED JUST EAST OF CASTLE
HAYNE ALONG HIGHWAY 421 IN SOUTHERN PENDER COUNTY. MOVEMENT WAS EAST
NORTHEAST AT 45 MPM... THIS STORM WILL MOVE THROUGH LONG CREEK... ROCKY
POINT AND CASTLE HAYNE BETWEEN 2 AND 215 AM.
 
ALTHOUGH NO TORNADOES HAVE BEEN DETECTED WITH THIS STORM...A TORNADO
WATCH REMAINS IN EFFECT. TORNADOES CAN DEVELOP WITHOUT WARNING FROM
A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM.
