FLASH FLOOD WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL  630 AM EDT
FOR EVERYONE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATIONS...
 
IN SOUTH CENTRAL NORTH CAROLINA
 
   ...MECKLENBURG COUNTY...UNION COUNTY
 
AT 330 AM EDT WEATHER SERVICE RADAR INDICATION THUNDERSTORMS WITH HEAVY
RAINSHOWER OVER WESTERN UNION COUNTY AND SOUTHERN MECKLENBURG COUNTY OF
NORTH CAROLINA. THE MOVEMENT OF THESE STORMS HAVE NEARLY COME TO A HALT.
 
 
A FLASH FLOOD WARNING MEANS THAT FLOODING IS OCCURRING OR IS
ABOUT TO TAKE PLACE. MOST FLASH FLOOD DEATHS OCCUR IN VEHICLES.

OBSERVED...ACT QUICKLY.  QUICKLY MOVE TO HIGHER GROUND. DO
NOT STAY IN AREAS KNOWN TO FLOOD WHEN WATER BEGINS TO RISE.
