THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN GREEN BAY HAS ISSUED A
SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 1015 AM CDT
FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATION...

IN CENTRAL WISCONSIN

   ...SOUTHERN PORTAGE COUNTY
   ...NORTHERN WAUSHARA COUNTY
 
AT 908 AM GREEN BAY DOPPLER RADAR SHOWED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS FROM
AMHERST TO 5 MILES SOUTHWEST OF WISCONSIN RAPIDS. THE STORM WAS MOVING
SOUTHEAST AROUND 30 MILES AN HOUR.

THE STORM WILL PASS THROUGH THE TOWNS OF BANCROFT...ALMOND AND
PLAINFIELD BY 1000 AM.
 
A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM PRODUCES WINDS  IN EXCESS OF 60 MPH AND
HAIL THAT IS DIME-SIZED OR LARGER.  GO TO A STURDY BUILDING AND
STAY AWAY FROM WINDOWS.
