...THUNDERSTORMS RAPIDLY DEVELOP ACROSS NORTH CENTRAL TEXAS...

AT 340 PM...NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED THAT
THUNDERSTORMS WERE RAPIDLY DEVELOPING BETWEEN FORT WORTH...GRANBURY...
STEPHENVILLE...MERIDIAN...AND CLEBURNE.  MOVEMENT WAS NORTHEAST AT 25
MPH.

THESE STORMS WILL PRODUCE VERY HEAVY RAIN...FREQUENT CLOUD TO GROUND
LIGHTNING AND PEA TO MARBLE SIZE HAIL.  THE STORMS WILL ENTER THE
DALLAS/FORT WORTH METROPLEX BY 430 PM...AND WILL AFFECT RUSH HOUR
TRAFFIC.

MOTORISTS ARE URGED TO SLOW DOWN AND ALLOW EXTRA TIME FOR ThHEIR DRIVE
HOME TONIGHT...AND BOATERS IN LAKE GRANBURY...BENBROOK AND JOE POOL

PRODUCING GUSTY WINDS...SMALL HAIL...HEAVY RAIN...AND DEADLY LIGHTNING..WERE LOCATED OVER THE NORTHERN HALF OF MONTAGUE COUNTY...JUST SOUTHWEST
OF BRIDGEPORT IN WISE COUNTY...AND OVER SOUTHERN JOHNSON AND NORTHERN
HILL COUNTIES FROM 10 MILES SOUTHWEST OF CLEBURNE TO COVINGTON.
MOVEMENT OF ALL STORMS WAS NORTHEAST AT 30 TO 35 MPH.

ARLINGTON.  MOVEMENT OF THESE STORMS WAS NORTHEAST AT 25 MPH.  SMALL
HAIL...GUSTY WINDS...VERY HEAVY RAIN...AND DEADLY LIGHTNING CAN BE
EXPECTED WITH THESE STORMS.  RUSH HOUR DRIVERS SHOULD PAY CLOSE
ATTENTION TO BRIEF HEAVY RAINFALL THAT MAY CAUSE PONDING ON ROADS AS
