SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 855 PM CDT (755 PM MDT)
FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATION...

IN SOUTHWEST MINNESOTA

   ...CENTRAL AND EASTERN LYON COUNTY
 
AT 804 PM CDT...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WAS DETECTED BY SIOUX FALLS
DOPPLER RADAR 21 MILES WEST OF SIBLEY  MOVING EAST AT 11 MPH. THIS
STORM IS EXPECTED TO REMAIN IN RURAL AREAS.
 
IF YOU ARE CAUGHT OUTSIDE...SEEK SHELTER FROM THE WEATHER IN A
STRONG...REINFORCED BUILDING.  DAMAGING WIND...LARGE HAIL...VERY
HEAVYD RAIN AND DEADLY LIGHTNING ARE ALL POSSIBLE IN SEVERE
THUNDERSTORMS. STAY INSIDE AWAY FROM WINDOWS UNTIL THE STORM HAS
PASSED.

THESE THUNDERSTORMS WERE PRODUCING HEAVY RAINS THAT COULD
