000 TTAA00 KATL 191940 RRA SVRATL GAC089-121-192015- BULLETIN - IMMEDIATE BROADCAST REQUESTED SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE PEACHTREE CITY GA 235 PM EST THU JAN 19 1995 THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN PEACHTREE CITY HAS ISSUED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 315 PM EST FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATIONS... IN NORTHWEST GEORGIA ...DEKALB COUNTY...SOUTHERN FULTON COUNTY AT 2:40 PM EST THREE QUARTER INCH HAIL WAS REPORTED BY THE COLLEGE PARK POLICE. RADAR SHOWED THIS STORM WAS MOVING NORTHEAST AT 40 MILES AN HOUR. WHEN THUNDERSTORMS ARE OCCURRING...PEOPLE SHOULD MOVE INSIDE A STRONG BUILDING. DO NOT STAND BY WINDOWS. PEA SIZE HAIL HAS BEEN REPORTED WITH THESE STORMS NEAR SUMMERVILLE. THE THUNDERSTORMS WERE DEVELOPING SOUTHWARD WHICH WILL PUT THEM IN THE ATLANTA METROPOLITAN AREA IN THE NEXT HOUR. IF YOU ARE OUTDOORS...WHEN STORMS ARE APPROACHING...MOVE TO A PLACE OF SHELTER IMMEDIATELY. MOTORISTS SHOULD REMAIN ALERT FOR SUDDEN REDUCTIONS IN VISIBILITY DURING DOWNPOURS.
