IN NORTHWEST GEORGIA ...COBB COUNTY AT 553 PM EDT RADAR SHOWED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM IN SOUTHERN BARTOW COUNTY MOVING SOUTHEAST AT 40 MPH. ACWORTH..KENNESAW AND MARIETTA ARE IN THE PATH OF THIS STORM. IF YOU ARE CAUGHT OUTSIDE...SEEK SHELTER FROM THE WEATHER IN A STRONG BUILDING. DAMAGING WIND...LARGE HAIL...VERY HEAVY RAIN... A NEW SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WATCH IS IN EFFECT UNTIL 1000 PM EDT FOR PARTS OF NORTH GEORGIA WHICH INCLUDES THE FOLLOWING COUNTIES ...HART...ELBERT...AND FRANKLIN IN NORTHEAST GEORGIA.
