THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN SAN ANTONIO HAS ISSUED A
SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL  930 PM CDT
FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATIONS...
 
IN SOUTH CENTRAL TEXAS
 
   ...MEDINA COUNTY...UVALDE COUNTY
 
AT 825 PM CDT...WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED SEVERE
THUNDERSTORMS 10 MILES SOUTHEAST OF THE CITY OF UVALDE AND ALONG THE
UVALDE/MEDINA COUNTY LINE NEAR SABINAL.  THE STORMS WERE MOVING TO
THE EAST AT 25 MPH.
 
PEOPLE IN THE PATH OF THIS STORM SHOULD BE ALERT TO THE POSSIBILITY
OF LARGE HAIL AND DAMAGING WINDS.  FREQUENT LIGHTNING AND LOCALLY
HEAVY RAIN CAN OCCUR WITH ANY THUNDERSTORM.
 
SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS CAN AND OCCASIONALLY DO PRODUCE TORNADOES WITH
LITTLE OR NO ADVANCE WARNING.
