THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN AUSTIN/SAN ANTONIO HAS ISSUED A
SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL  845 PM CDT
FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATION...
 
IN SOUTH CENTRAL TEXAS
 
   ...BURNET COUNTY
 
AT 745 PM CDT...THE STRONG THUNDERSTORM OVER WEST CENTRAL BURNET
COUNTY HAD TURNED SEVERE. THE STORM WAS 10 MILES NORTHWEST OF BURNET
MOVING TO THE EAST SOUTHEAST AT 12 MPH.  THE STORM WILL CROSS THE
NORTHERN PORTIONS OF THE CITY OF BURNET BY 800 PM.
 
THIS STORM HAD A HISTORY OF LARGE HAIL AND HEAVY RAINFALL.
 
 
PEOPLhE IN THE PATH OF THIS STORM SHOULD BE ALERT TO THE POSSIBILITY
OF LARGE HAIL AND DAMAGING WINDS.  FREQUENT LIGHTNING AND LOCALLY
HEAVY RAIN CAN OCCUR WITH ANY THUNDERSTORM.
