AT 550 PM THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE RADAR INDICATED A SEVERE
THUNDERSTORM 20 MILES WEST OF COMSTOCK. MOVEMENT WAS EAST AND NORTHEAST
AT 25 MILES PER HOUR.
 
 
SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WINDS CAN REACH SPEEDS OVER 60 MPH.  THESE WINDS
BLOW DOWN TREES...POWER LINES...AND SEVERELY DAMAGE MOBILE HOMES...
SOMETIMES BUILDINGS.  VERY LARGE HAIL CAN INJURE ANYONE CAUGHT

COUNTY...

AT 505 PM NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED STRONG
THUNDERSTORMS FROM 15 MILES SOUTHWEST OF LANGTRY TO 50 MILES WEST
OF DEL RIO. THE STRONGEST THUNDERSTORM WAS 15 MILES SOUTHWEST OF
LANGTRY. THESE STORMS WERE MOVING NORTHEAST AT 20 MILES AN HOUR.

THESE STORMS ARE CAPABLE OF PRODUCING STRONG GUSTY WINDS...BRIEF
HEAVY DOWNPOURS...SMALL HAIL AND DANGEROUS LIGHTNING STRIKES.
